The answer is actually pretty simple.

At Trusted Identity Partners (TIP), we specialize in fingerprinting, notary services, and passport photos. That is our focus, and we take pride in providing those services professionally, efficiently, and with a strong commitment to customer care.

At the same time, there are many things people assume we offer that we actually do not. Because of that, we thought it would be helpful to clearly explain what TIP does and does not provide so clients know exactly what to expect when they walk through our doors.

What TIP DOES Offer

Professional Fingerprinting Services

Fingerprinting is one of our primary services and one of the main reasons clients come to TIP.

We provide fingerprinting services for a wide variety of needs, including employment requirements, certifications, licensing applications, background checks, volunteer positions, and other official purposes.

For many people, fingerprinting is tied to an important milestone. It may be connected to a new career, a professional license, a volunteer opportunity, or another major step forward. We understand that these appointments matter, and we work hard to make the process smooth and stress free.

Many clients arrive unsure of what they need, what documents to bring, or how the process works. We know these requirements can sometimes feel confusing, especially when instructions from outside agencies are unclear or overwhelming.

However, it is important to understand that TIP provides passport photos only. We do not process passport applications, issue passports, or handle passport approvals.

While we are happy to help clients obtain compliant passport photos, the actual passport application and processing must go through the appropriate government agencies or authorized passport acceptance facilities.

We know the terminology can sometimes create confusion, so we always want clients to understand exactly where our role begins and ends.

While we may notarize documents, we cannot tell clients what forms they should use, what legal decisions they should make, or how paperwork may affect their legal situation.

If someone needs legal advice, we always encourage them to speak with a licensed attorney.

We Are Not a Government Agency

Because fingerprinting is often connected to licensing boards, employment agencies, certifications, or state requirements, some people assume TIP works directly for the government.

We do not.

TIP is a private business that provides fingerprinting, notary services, and passport photos. While we may assist clients with processes connected to outside agencies, we do not control agency timelines, approvals, background check results, licensing decisions, passport approvals, or processing delays.

We understand it can be frustrating waiting for results or approvals, but those final decisions are made by the appropriate agencies, not by our office.

We Do Not Guarantee Outcomes

Another important thing clients should understand is that no ethical fingerprinting or notary service can guarantee approvals or outcomes.

We cannot guarantee employment approvals, licensing approvals, certifications, background check results, passport approvals, or acceptance of documents by outside agencies.

What we can guarantee is that we will provide professional service, complete our role accurately, and do our best to help clients understand the process within the scope of what we are allowed to do.

Honesty and transparency matter to us, even when the answer is not always what someone wants to hear.

We Do Not Create or Complete Legal Documents

Although we notarize documents, we do not draft legal paperwork or fill out legal forms for clients.

Many people are surprised to learn there is an important difference between notarizing a document and preparing one.

Clients are responsible for bringing completed documents and understanding what they are signing. If assistance with legal preparation is needed, that service must come from a qualified legal professional.
