Summer Travel Plans? Check Your Passport Now

Summer travel season is closer than you think. Whether you are planning a cruise, an international vacation, or even just considering a last-minute getaway, now is the time to check your passport expiration date.

Here is something many people do not realize:

Several countries require your passport to be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. That means even if your passport does not expire until later this year, you could still run into problems boarding your flight or entering another country.

Do not wait until the last minute.

Passport renewals can take several weeks, and processing times often increase during peak travel months. If you discover your passport is expiring soon, getting started early can save you stress, rush fees, and the risk of changing your travel plans.

Need Passport Photos?

While we do not process passport applications, we do provide professional passport photos that meet federal requirements. That means:

• Proper sizing
• Correct background
• No shadows
• No guesswork

DIY passport photos often get rejected due to lighting, background, or formatting issues. A rejected photo can delay your renewal and your travel plans.

If you think you might need to renew, come in and get your photos done early so you are ready to submit your application without delay.

Summer trips should be exciting, not stressful. A quick passport check today can save you a major headache later.
